Lisa Christine Studios

In May 2005, Lisa earned a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from Penn State University, one of the Nation's top collegiate training programs. There she studied with Mary Saunders, Cary Libkin, Spence Ford, Craig Carnelia and Richard Sabellico, among others.

Upon graduation, Lisa traveled with the Equity National tour of JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, starring Patrick Cassidy. She performed as a wife in the ensemble, and had the good fortune to understudy American Idol’s Amy Adams and perform the role of the Narrator 55 times in 19 cities across the country.

A proud member of Actors' Equity Association since 2000, Lisa has performed with many West Coast regional theatre companies, including American Musical Theatre of San Jose, TheatreWorks of Palo Alto, Sierra Repertory Theatre, California Theatre Arts, Woodminster Amphitheatre, The Willows Theatre Company, and Playhouse West. Favorite roles have been Miss Dorothy in THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, Yonah in CHILDREN OF EDEN, Kim in BYE BYE BIRDIE, Jeunefille in KING OF HEARTS, and the title role in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s CINDERELLA.

In 2010, Lisa made her St. Louis regional theatre debut in two productions at STAGES ST. LOUIS. She played the role of Marie, the sassy white kitten, in DISNEY’S THE ARISTOCATS, and she performed in the ensemble (and understudied the female ingénue, Margy Frake) in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s STATE FAIR.

Lisa’s true passion, though, is teaching. After relocating to Saint Louis with her husband in 2008, Lisa opened Lisa Christine Studios, LLC, a voice and musical theater training school for young aspiring performers. A member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, Lisa is happy to share the gift of music with students in the Midwest!
